Finally - EGGS!!

well patience finally payed off and my pair of triple full red dwarf cichlids(apistogramma cacatuoides) have eggs in one of the terra cotta pots. Can't wait to see them hatch..

some things I'll be pickin up at the store tomorrow: sponge for filter intake, and some java moss . I got hikari first bites and will attempt to hatch brine shrimp once the fry become free swimming(hopefully).

Anything else I should be thinking about? I really want to do everything I can to have a successfull batch.

I removed all possible threats from the tank except for the clown pleco and yellow spotted pleco.. think thats ok?

Any help/suggestions is much appreciated. thanks!

I have heard of plecos eating eggs. Hopefully the eggs will be guarded well enough that this won't happen.

I would move pleco's first.. Whe had alot of eggs eaten by pleco's (actually all the eggs that were laid while the pleco's were in the tank, mostly eaten the very next night)
