first timer

This my first attempt at breeding...I have 2 tanks: a breeder tank&a fry tank for black convicts..the 2 have bred now,I've observed the female guarding the eggs&the male on patrol..my question is what is the best course to follow? How long should fry remain with the parents?

As far as I understand, convicts are good parents and will do fine in the same tank the whole time. After 24 hours of being hatched, you can feed them newly hatched brine shrimp or freeze dried bloodworms/ brine shrimp put in a ziplock and crushed to a fine powder.
