Fry Question?

How big should Platy fry be before putting in with other fish? I have about 5 that are about 1/4 inch long or a bit more and are pretty chubby,They look to be big enough not to fit in the other fish's mouth's,I have no problem's holding them in the breeder net's for a while longer but they look like they want freedom

It depends on their tankmates really. If you have only platys in the tank, then they're probably big enough. The "mouth" rule seems to break down for some fish. My serpaes chase down fry even too big for them to eat. It might just be mine though. You can always just put one in and observe for an hour or two. If no-one picks on it, it's probably safe to put the rest in too.
