German Blue Rams egg good or not fert.
Hey all I have a maybe stupid question about GBR eggs. Ok here we go I had a pair of GBR's and the male dyied { old age he was 2 1/2 yrs old } then the female about a week later layed eggs. Now she's still whatching the eggs. So far they look good a few turning white but not what you'd call the bad egg white.
Anyway with out a male in the tank while the eggs still be good ? I mean dosn't there have to be a male to fertalzies the eggs after there layed? Are is she just whatching unfertial eggs? I've always thought that the male had to be in the tank to fertilazie the eggs. There almost two days old now. I know i'm just going to whatch and she if they turninto wigglers. But I just wanted to know anyway for future info. |
