My Black Moor (female) laid eggs, the male is either a large comet or a medium fantail (both were chasing her all the time..)
The whole process was a surprise for me, I found some fry that already hatched and many eggs, I moved all of them to a bucket so they don't get eaten and set the heater to 21c.
My questions:
1- I use a flashlight to see the fry as they're pretty small, could this hurt their eyes or cause blindness?
2- What will the fish look like? Black Moor or comet/fantail?
3- How many days should take these eggs to hatch? As I said temp. is 21c, I already see mini creatures in these eggs.
4- What do I feed them right after they start swimming?
5- When to change water, how often and how much?
