Gourami breeding - Aquarium Advice

I have tried once, but my male was too juvenile and my female died when she didn't drop her eggs.

Has anyone bred gouramis? I'd like to try again at some point and any tips etc. would help.

Sure, although I have done mostly dwarfs and pearls...what sort of things were you wondering about?

do the females really die when they don't drop eggs?? Is this just with gouramis? I thought females just reobsorbed the eggs

They can die, but many just reabsorb....I have seen this in bettas as well.
