guppy breeding - Aquarium Advice

if a guppy female IS NOT preganant will she have a visable breeding spot (gravid spot), or is it always there just darker at breeding. I bought a female today and shes has a grey coloured gravid spot...is she pregant?

so with a non preganant guppy is there a visable spot?

Usually you can't see a gravid spot on non pregnant guppies. The problem is almost no guppy from a [acronym:ec8310dd13="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:ec8310dd13] is not pregnant.

my female guppies always have a gravid spot.. even after a birth... supposidly the pregnancy spot is the babies eyes.

I think I may have bought a pregnant female Guppy. I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

Breeding guppies is very easy. They do it quite naturally!

haha, I never had a female guppy that wasn't pregnant. I really wish I could put some guppies in my tank...but they'd be angel fod real quick. lol
