Guppy gravid spot

My female guppy that I have had for 3 weeks just dropped approx 15 fry 3 days ago (all but 4 were eaten) and her gravid spot lightened to a pale yellowish color(was super dark almost black when pregnant)...today when I checked everybody her gravid spot is almost black again...is that normal? Did she just pop out what was needed to let more grow? Im new to the whole fry thing so not sure how it goes...any advice?

i would not, i have had a mom give birth 2 weeks after giving birth to one set of fry.
