so i got the "hatchery" and set up the 2L bottle.

2 questions-

Instuctions say that the Temp should be between 80-82F and the PH should be maintained above 8.0

Only way i can keep the temp at that number is if i put a submerisble in there.. Is that ok?

How do I increase PH? It's at 7.8. I heard Baking Soda??? is that right ?

thanks for the help..

The Brine shrimp got it's name for a reason. Brine is warm salt water. The brine shrimp thrive and hatch best when in a brackish enviroment. adding sea salt will slightly raise the PH, and yes, Baking soda will increase the Ph. adding a submersable to the mix will be fine, but I have had success hatching them at a room temp.
