she looks full of eggs . do a cool water change. plecos prefer cooler water for breeding. i have 5 breeding pairs. if she disapeers for a day or to dont be surprised shes just laying eggs then daddy will chase her out and care for the eggs. pm me with any questions any time

Yeh just do water changes. That's all I have done and everytime my pair spawned

Yup def gravid, gratz on hopefully being a step dad!
The above posters are right, when you do the water change lower it a litte bit at a time
over a few hours; ie: say your 80 at 5pm, put in 79 at 5:30, 78 at 6, 77 at 6:30 then drop to 75/73 at 7/7:30

Okay thanks everyone for the advice i done that although she still has not layed?:/

she will guive it time. do a little cool water change every day. plecos love the cooler water

Okay what temp shall i keep it at each day i set the heater at 26 degrees but becuz it hot in england atm it goes up to 30 degrees how much degrees shall i lower it each day by a cold water change?:)

just check the water from the sink and make it cool not cold it wont hurt them.

Okay by how many degrees shall i reduce?:) and gave them cucumber yesterday shall i give pellets or algea wafers today?

Is that 30 degrees Celsius? And I feed mine algae wafers every second day and cucumber on the other days

Yes celcius and okay gave them algea wafers yesterday :)

Honestly if its hot in England I would take the heater out I only run heaters in winter ( I'm in Australia ).

Haha well now and again it is plus ive got the house boiler in my run i have lowered my heater to 24 degrees celcius so hopefully only got les to 26-28 degrees :)
