Help, I have a cobalt lobster and have had him for about 6 months, last night when feeding the fish last night I noticed what looks like eggs under its tail. I only have the one lobster so I'm kind of shocked that there are eggs present. Does anyone have any advise on this I would appreciate it.

Those are eggs. I'd move this gal to a ten gal if you want to keep any of the young. Or just leave her go and let nature do the rest.

Won't they need to be fertalized in order to be able to hatch? I'm not sure on how the whole crawdad reproduction works.

Yes, but that may have happened prior to you purchasing her. The females recieve a sperm packet from the male and pass the eggs through for fertilization. Sounds odd but I had this happen once with a new crayfish.
