hey can someone please tell me, How do i know if my female saulosi are holding?
Its my first time with a mouthbrooder, my tank size is about 75x35x40 high (cm)
I have 1 male and 3 females. He seems to chase them alot and gives them a hard time. Ive seen him do that little dance they usually do a few times but i have no idea how to tell if these females are holding.

I bought these fish 3 days ago and i am also wondering how old they have to be to mate?

The male is about 7cm long and the females are about 6cm long

please reply,
Merdelhuck.

Welcome to AA. When cichlids are holding you can tell by the area just behind their mouths. It bulges outward. Also most holding mothers will not eat.
