Actually they are pretty easy to spawn in the right set up.

Yep. The trouble most people have is trying to hang onto the notion that the slightly less colorful male they have is really a female. Afterall, that's what the LFS will tell them so it must be right.

Well, he is asking about the dwarf, which I am not sure is TOO different, but I found this site, which is pretty detailed.

True but the cup bubble nest trap thing I've seen in various gourami breeding tanks. Pretty funny watching a determined male try to make a bubble nest in an area with some flow. I was thinking about getting a pair a while ago but the quality of the stock is horrible in this area.

I can't even find females in my area, so I just have my one flame male who likes to pester the guppies.
