How long?

I was wondering how long it takes Black convict cichlid fry to grow to be able to live in the tank by themselves safely( like without getting eaten or injured)

Depends on what it's with. I used to breed them for little stores and even as fry mine would fight other larger fish. They are very intimidating to other species so they are left alone usually.
