How often can the same female fish lay eggs? My female laid eggs in mid December and the same male is chasing her around non stop.

It depends on the type of fish.
Our GBRs (german blue rams) lay eggs about every 45 days.
Our Kribs lay about every other month.
Our firemouths lay about every 3 months.

Wow very interesting.I did not know It depends on the species. Mine are Ranchu goldfish. Thanks for the knowledge Dragon much appreciated.

Hey dragon! I have kribs too! They just spawned their first time thursday. I dont know if they ate thier eggs or not. I guess I just have to wait and see!
