How often would you recommend doing a water change if you want your fish to breed?

I've got a 24 gallon planted tank and I want to breed my albino corydoras. Every time I feed them, the female gets REALLY fat, but only to get skinny again a few hours later. How can I coax them to breed?

I have read that reducing the temperature of the new water slightly will induce spawning. It makes them think it is the rainy season which is why they spawn.

Oh yeah, and how often are you meant to feed them, what do you feed them, and how much to feed them every time you feed them?
