How to tell if a platy is pregnant?

I know platies are live bearers, like guppies, but mine is a dark color. I can't see a gravid spot or anything. I have noticed over the two week period of which I've had mine, its belly has gotten bigger. I can't tell if it's because she is more well fed or if it's because she's pregnant.

Would some kind soul mind helping me out and telling me if she's pregnant? I assume the care for the fry would be the same as with guppies, correct?
