Saturday my sword had a litter of fry. I should know better this isn't my first go round with livebearers. But I didn't get a seperate tank for the fry. So after some jimmy rigging I used one of the little plastic tank things and set the whole thing in the tank. It worked great for a few days and the babies stayed in. Well in the process of feeding them the other day most of them got loose. They seemed to be doing great in the big tank so I let the rest loose.
Just in time for both of my platys to drop litters this morning!!! So now all of the babies are everywhere!!!!! My tank is alive!!!! So as they get older how do I tell the diffence between the platy females and the sword girls? I just can't believe the rediculousness of this! I think my 37g is now at full stock! LOL!
