Huge mama platy

Am I right in thinking she's going to drop tonight or tomorrow? She's the squarest I've ever seen and fit to burst. I think this may be her first brood as she looked rather young when I got her.

Wow, she's a big mamma alright. I would say she'll have at least 40. If she hasn't already had them and you are lucky enough to see her have them, feed her as she is giving birth. This will distract her and fill her up at the same time, this will help prevent her from eating the fry. As others have said, any minute now!!!!.

I'm still learning, it's only the second fry in the tank (other big mama dropped a couple of weeks ago). I really appreciate the input and glad that I've learned so much already! She's not fully empty I've noticed. There is still a few little eyes inside her (but she is half the size she was last night). Am I right in assuming she will drop more as and when she feels like it?
