hybrids?

hi guys,
what livebearing species can cross-bread, can I cross platies with guppies?

Platies and guppies cant cross breed. Guppies and mollies can. Guppies and endlers can also cross breed. Most people don't like making strains of hybrid fish that can disrupt the trade.

Not to be too critical, but if you want to hybredize livebears for your own use so be it. From that point on these fish are not of any value unless as feeders. Even after several generations, they are still feeders. My point is, there are plenty of cool looking livebearers so keep them pure.

You could also purchase a Belonasox, that would keep them from crossing.
