I think I found some eggs!
Last night I found this fuzzy thing on my fake plant. I picked it up and took a closer look and saw three egg sacks. I am assuming that the fuzz is fungus. Since it is Christmas Eve here all of the stores are closed. Can I put a couple of drops of pimafix in the container that is holding the eggs.
the only fish I have that have males and females are red-eye tetras. My plants are fake and I have no snails. |

I would say no, but I've never had fish lay eggs before.

Tetra's are typically egg scaterers, you won't find a "sack".
It's quite possible snail eggs. |

Well, I removed the fuzz and there was only one egg. I doubt that it is fertile but I'll give it several days.

If there was fuzz, it is not fertile. The egg (whatever it is) fungused. It will not hatch.

I wouldn't think so either. But it is exciting that there is a possibility that they might lay some more. I'll have to keep a very close eye out .
