ideal goldfish breeding tank
Lets say I want to have 6 goldfish living in a 40 (or bigger?) gallon breeder. Lets also say that the tank would be fully lighted with fluorescents so I'd want it to be planted and natural. What would this tank be like as far as plants, aquascaping etc. ?
I'd also like to add a refugium attached to the tank, so ideas on what would organisms (including plants and algaes) would be good in a refugium attached to a goldfish tank?

1. Goldfish eat almost all plants. Lilies, onion plants, and Swords are generally safe.
2. What kind of goldfish? Larger tank for 6 of them. 75 gallons is probably what you should shoot for here. |
