IM A FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!

I woke up this this morning and guess what I saw, my kribensis with about fiftenn little babies! I knew that it might happen cuz the female had really been hanging out in the flowerpot, but it was still very exciting. Right now im feeding them a mix of finely crushed flake, baby brine, and powdered baby fish food. I feed it to them by sucking it up with water in a turkey baster and squeezing it out over them and the parents. Is this ok? how often should I feed them, how many should live, and how big should they be before I take them from their parents. Thanks for any advice!

you dont need too feed the babys if they still have there yock sack, when they are free swimming they the need too be feed and your feeding them exactly right, you can take them a way when ever you want but most lfs wont buy them till there around an inch, dont for get too put some nylon around you filter intake too prevent them from being sucked up, and congragulations, its cool watching cichlids lead there babys around. is there any other fish in the tank? im not sure how many eggs kribs are suposed too lay my jackdempseys and convicts laid hundreds and the cory catfish laid around 50.
