About a month ago my mollie had three babies and they are getting to the size where I can introduce them to my main tank. Would there be a problem if there father decide to do the wicked deed with one of them a few months down the line when they are sexually mature?

a few generations down the line you end up with birth defects but the first few are normally ok...not ideal though

fish are not like humans, inbreeding occurs very naturally and could actually be one of the reasons a fish population is thriving. a few generations should be fine but if you suspect they look frail, add another one in to vary the gene pool
