interbreeding platys

so i have 2 female red wag platys. soon i will breed them, what will the babies look like if i put in a male mickey mouse platy?, and if you have recommendations for other platys to interbreed, please say.

Can't tell you, depends on what genes they have. Cull out any fry that are not unusual looking and segrigate all female fry until they are at least 90 days old.

Like many aquarium fish today, platys are inbred to some degree, so, as henningc said, there's really no way to know what you'd get. Keep any fry that are attractive, and the rest, well, keep or feed them to something larger, or whatever you wish. If you don't want the fry to breed with each other, do keep the girls separate as soon as possible. They are sexually mature long before they are full size.
