is my fish about to drop fry only had them 5 days so really new to thisnoticed she is fatter than my other 3 males and i have put her in a hatching thing she has a long clear hair type thing comeing from below her anal fin is she going to give birth ? any help apreciated im posting from iphone sorry for spelling and grammer

Hair thing and babies

My dwarf gourami just had a similar hair type thing coming out and I was wondering what it was. According to a Petco fish specialist, the gourami's anus is way up forward because of the long anal fin, and this was basically just poop coming out. They said it happens when fish are not really eating much, but they still have to poop. Often stress from a new environment. Here is the video (I'm not talking about the two feeler things):

What kind of fish? It could be internal parasites.

im not 100% mollie i think if it helps she allso has a sort of white spot type thing near there shes eating fine actualy really quickly as ive read up with pregnant fish ill upload a photo tomorrow when i can

just thought how can i make her more comfortable in there she doesnt seem to like the nursery iv put some paper over the glass so she cant see outside the tank and do i feed her in there ?
