heres the story - i got her a week or so ago,the lady at the store said she might be PG but not sure! stuck her in with the other fish. i have a male black molly who wouldnt leave her alone, kept nipping at her and flarring his fins - guessing he was trying to mate. so i put her in another tank. wondering if shes PG? or just big? cant really see a gravid spot. please help.

also if shes not pg should i stick her back in with the black molly? is that how they mate?? never had a Pregant fish before thanks

She looks pregnant. If you have only one male molly it will constantly harrass a female. For mollies you need 3 females per male. They will spawn constantly. What size tank do you have them in?

Mollies can get pretty good sized some I have seen are about 4 inches. What other fish do you have in there? If you have a 7 gallon tank with 2 mollies you would be overstocked already.

Oh she is pregnant!! I hope has a lot of hiding places for the babies because she will eat them. The stress of moving her can cause the babies to be born premature, and keeping the water super clean will help the babies grow faster so you'll be a pro at changing water in no time at all.
