jewel cichlids layed egg back 2 back 2 females???

My jewels just layer eggs on the second day (today) they eat them a couple of hours latter they are laying more eggs as I type does this mean I have two females or are they starting from scratch. Also I read somewhere that one of them could change sex in order to breed not to sure about this one.. this is there 3rd batch the first one after the eggs were gone I cleaned the tank and changed it around and they hated each other. Now I changed it again now there in love.. I know it takes a couple of tries for them to get it right but back to back makes me think there both females.. thanks for any help
