Hey, I read somewhere that Leopard danios will not lay fertilised eggs if there isn't a zebra danio in tank to fertilise them, as Leopard danios are infertile because they are hybrids. Is this true?

No. They are not hybrids. They are a colour morph of the zebra danio, so they can breed with both their own colour form and with zebras. Zebra danios are Danio rerio, Leopards are D. rerio var. frankei...

var stand for variety, in other words, a colour mutation.
