I'm going to try and make my own trap for a dedicated fry tank. I would like it to be big enough to keep her in there for a few days and have large enough holes in the bottom for the fry to fall threw but not big enough for her to get out. Anyone make one like this? Any photos would be great. Thanks

I personally havent made one but I found a youtube video of one that I hope might help. Here is a link: my homemade molly/guppy breeding tank - YouTube

Hope this helps

To expand on this idea, if you are handy with a dremel tool, take the original container and in place of the netting at the bottom, make slots along the bottom with the Dremel so that the fry can get through but the females can't. You should also create some kind of separation between where the female will be and the fry once they are born because if they stay with the parent too long, they can (and often do) get eaten by the mother.

Hope this helps (y)
