Marigold Swordtail - Possibly with fry?
My marigold swordtail has become increasingly aggresive toward both the other female and the male (as well as her own reflection). I think she is just chasing them, I don't think she is attacking them. He abdomen also looks a little larger that normal (I think, its hard to tell). Here is the best picture I could get. Is this spawning behavior.
I wasn't attempting to get them to spawn. They are still new to the tank, I've been feeding them Omega One Veggie Flakes. Temperature is around 78 deg F. Ph, Gh are unknown (wish I had ordered this test kit sooner). Tank is 12g. Last edited by Alshain; 01-06-2008 at 02:54 AM. |

I can't tell from the pic, is the rear fin at the bottom fan shaped? She very well might be pregnant. You will be able to tell better in a week or so.
