Fromthelbc hears surf in the shell
me again, different species, different questions.

Ghost shrimp is pregnant, i can see the green eggs in her egg-area.

whats going on? when should i expect small shrimp and how should i go about taking care of them?

If they're a type that can be fully raised in FW you should just cover the filter intake(s) with a sponge or very fine net, pantyhose, etc. and hope for the best. What's in there with them that might snack on the shrimplets? Some "ghost" shrimp require brackish conditions so if the eggs disappear and there are no babies, that may be why. Good luck with them!

yea, theyre the full fresh, theres some englers live bearers in here, i think theyve been snacking on the eggs...

Endlers may eat the babies, but with enough hiding places some may make it. Even though the adults are fine in FW doesn't mean that they can have viable babies. Just an FYI. There are quite a few species that look very similar and are sold as "Ghost shrimp". The eggs should be carried by the female on her swimmerettes so it would be unlikely that the endlers would be eating any of the eggs.
