Molly still pregnant

My white molly is pregnant, she is showing the eyes of the fry in her belly. (at least I think that is what they are). She is as big as a house, I thought she would give birth a couple of weeks ago. Is it possible she can have some control over when she has these fry? I have had her for 7 weeks and she has been clearly pregnant when I got her. I thought for sure by now she would have had her fry. I'll try and get a picture but I swear when she sees the camera she starts darting around so that I can't take a pic of her.

Nice big 50% water change can often trigger them to litter....as well, some pure spirulina flakes can help move things along.

Are you planning to rescue all of them? If so, you better be ready for a net when she drops, unless you plan on giving your other fish a treat.

I had a big momma sword and she dropped at least 100 fry in my 5 gallon bucket before I could move her into her new home.
