Yeah, thats a possibility. If you want to put her in a breeding net, keep an eye on her and take her out after a day or 2 whether there are fry or not. She needs to swim around to get the process going, so leaving her in the net too long isn't good. But, you probably won't hurt anything to try putting her in there.hello I have a question about my platy. recently I discovered that one of our fish a platy was pregnant. Sounds good. Honestly, they often get pretty huge before dropping fry, so it may be a days in the future. Its always a bit hard to tell though, especially on their first drop. They usually get more boxy looking. Their profile turns more \__/ than (_). But, its still hard to tell. I have had some females of various livebearers who refused to drop fry in the net.
