So I wanted to post this today because I released my first fry today into my 55 gallon. I've been using a breeding net they are about 2mo old and for the first time since they hatched I have new eggs so I not only released but got a new batch of eggs. Here's some pics

They like laying eggs on my power head it's a Korella 750

Sorry to sound so stupid I'm new to fish keeping what is power head?

A power head or wave maker is an in tank item used to create flow and surface agitation. In my 55 gallon I have it aimed at the surface to do both. It helps prevent "dead" water or water that just sits still

I see! Thanks! Will I also need a power head if I already have a water filter?

That depends on what your looking for in your tank for me it was needed.
