Mystery Snails

My snails have been screwing each other relentlessly over the past few weeks and have yet to lay any clutches. I've got the water was 80f with the ph @ 7.0 and I keep them well fed and the water well oxygenated.


Is there anything I can do to help initiate the egg laying, beyond lowering the water level?

They will more likely breed if they are overfed that way the mother has more nutrients to produce eggs.

Do you have the water line at least 2 inches from the top?
