Overcrowded fry tank

I am setting up a 10 gallon fry tank. I don't want to overcrowd so how many fry can I keep in it? Molly and guppy fry.

depends how long you intend to keep them in there and how its filtered. but if your just getting them to the point where they are big enough to not be eaten then putting them back into the main tank id say 20 or so.. just keep an eye on water quality

Fish under a month. It's a HOB filter for 20 gallon tanks.

If you change 50% water 2x daily and have fully cycled filter media you can easily keep 30 fry 1 inch or less while feeding 4x per day. Feedings accelerate growth but also increase pollution proportionately. Change larger volumes of water and more frequently if needed. With large volume water changes be especially careful about chlorine/tapwater toxicity and don't skimp out on dechlorinator usage.
