Painted swordtail and silver molly
Could a silver Molly and painted swordtail mate? Cuase I think that my silver Molly is trying to...

Probably not. Swordtails and platies can breed.

No they cannot crossbreed, I take it that your Molly is a male? Just like guppies, male Mollies will try to breed with anything they can but that doesn't mean they will produce fry.
