Paratilapia Polleni cichlid Breeding

Heyhey i have a male polleni (small spot) and i'm waiting on a female from a supplier, he's bred in the past and i'm hoping to get him going again, i wasnt the last one to breed him and i'm hoping someone could give me some hinters on what to expect, i currently have a 4ft tank cycling ready for him and the new girlfriend to move to and thinking of a crushed shell and sand mix substrate.
