My mum has had loads of eggs laid all over her 190ltre tank...what can she do to hopefully raise the fry if and when they hatch. Also how does she know if they have been fertilised.

Hello D...

The eggs are very tasty treats for most aquarium fish, so you'll need to remove them with a credit card or similar tool and put them into their own tank. The new tank must have very similar water properties as the original tank. The water properties need to very stable. You need very pure water and a neutral pH if the eggs are to hatch. You should know in about 3 days if you have little ones.

Good luck.
