I have two female platies and recently I have noticed that they are rounder than normal and both have a small gravid spot. it is easier to see on my plain orange female as you can see her insides in the right light. I can see some fry developing in her stomach. The other female I have had longer and she generally hides from the males but recently she has been schooling with them and getting ALOT of attention from my male mickey mouse platy. her gravid spot isn't as clear but she is much rounder than normal. I know I still have 2 or 3 weeks before I should expect any fry. I think this is both their first time, so hopefully not too many.
