I have two red wag platys that I got a the sAme time and one is way bigger than the other so I'm thinking it may be pregnant how can you tell and how do you tell if their male or female?

Females have a pair of anal fins, males have a long stick like one. If these fish came from the store and were kept with other platys then the chances are excellent that the females are pregnant.

Isn't that a lil big for a platy breeder? Not sure just wondering ?

nah i plan to keep the adults in a 10 gallon... But remember when they start shooting out babies your tank will get crowded real quick. So when shes a few days away ill put her in a breeder trap and when shes done ill transport the babies to the big tank where the are no predators

My red wag had babies I didn't notice till all my other fish were eating outa the rocks then jumped up and only got 2save one but he'll be named lucky cuz he's lucky tht I saved him
