Don't look pregnant to me, my balloon is fatter than that and isn't pregnant
Can you do this for me, check in the back if the fish, near the anal fins and tell me if you see a black spot

I would say pregnant or fat ! If pregnant they will square off, by which I mean the belly will go kind of flat then they will be ready to drop any time, good luck ;)

theres a fry swimming in the pictures. are the four balloon mollies in a separate tank right now? it looks like a different tank than the last pictures. if so then the fry is theirs and i would say yes they could be pregnant but they look fat either way haha

lol i only looked at the first couple up close but after i posted it there are bunch of fry in pics 4 and 5 so i changed my post ;) if they are the only livebearers in the tank, the fry is theirs. if you get better pictures we can tell you which ones are male or female, if you don't already know ;)

Yeah I noticed after I posted lol.. Loads in pic 5

Hi thanks everyone for your replies. The fry are actually guppy fry and the were in one of those hang on breeder boxes, I put them in their to get the photos easily now they are in the main tank though. I will try to take more clearer pics of I can to make it easier. I tried to check the gravid spot but it is so hard with the balloon mollies. About 5days ago the Dalmatian balloon Molly had dropped about 6 eggs and one deformed fry but that was it. :(

My Dalmatian Molly was egg bound on her first birth, she had about 15 eggs drop, then came the fry and she had 30 ! She was enormous and so were the fry ! Poor girl ..

Here are some more pics. Sorry they are not the best but it's so hard to take them :(

Wow, I dust even see the fry lol, so yea they are pregnant, lucky mine is fatter than that and isn't pregnant
Yea, balloon mollies are a hybrid

My Dalmatian Molly was egg bound on her first birth, she had about 15 eggs drop, then came the fry and she had 30 ! She was enormous and so were the fry ! Poor girl ..
I hAve a bumblebee platy and last night she dropped about 15 eggs. She still looks pretty plump. Could we be experiencing the same thing? I thought it was a miscarry

the first white one is male and the orange/white is female its still pretty hard to tell for sure with the others. have you learned how to sex a molly yet? its super easy and if you have males with females, which you do, the females are always going to be pregnant.

I thought they were all females :(. Isn't sexing mollies the same as you do guppies?

So this guys definitly a male? I have been thinking it is a female who just keeps her analysis fin up coz it is not as pronounced as in my male Molly and swordtails. ? thanks for the advice.
