I picked up a small pleco for my aquarium. I'm trying to figure out what kind it is. Doesn't appear to be a bristly nose. At least I don't see any bristles. It's maybe an inch long. At best. I think the store said "golden or yellow pleco". Can't really find any info online. Also, he is very small and mixed with a few semi aggressive fish. 1 Oscar, 1 albino rainbow shark, 6 tiger barbs. Lots of hiding places and in a hexagonal 20g. This is not a permanent home for the Oscar or the pleco. But they are all still little. I'm wondering if I should get a breeding net and put the pleco in there to ensure he does eat and gets acclimated more? Ideas? He was listed as semi aggressive and he's pretty fast but I'm still worried about that Oscar and him.

I just figured out what it is. And I'm an idiot. It's a golden algae eater. :|
