Pleco kicked eggs

so we woke this morning to clumps of eggs around the tank so it seems that the male kicked the eggs just hoping how we set up the kicked eggs is enough .... we took out the caves he chose (he chose 5 caves) to hopefully prevent it happening again just incase they were too small so gave a bigger cave with small opening ... learning curve for all ... fingers crossed to hatching babies

Were there any issues in the tank around that time, fighting other fish, new introductions, water quality or temp fluctuation?

bristlenose and dont know his history as we only got about month ago he a big boy though

yeah we trying to now ... weve used the tube from a gravel cleaner and put cloth netting at bottom with them in in the tank with the tube from an air stone in it just above the eggs
