ok so ... we had a brown male and lemon female in a tank together but took male out as wanted to start getting lemons breeding so bought one male with what should have been 2 females but the person we bought them from gave us an extra one so got 1 male 3 females (even though one looking like a male too which is ok) in with our original female ... we have left the cave that our brown male and her bred in in the tank we got some proper slate pleco caves today the male seems to have chosen some caves as his own on one of them we got however our original female keeps going in the cave that her and our brown male used to breed in (she hadnt gone in it since taking other male out until today when got new caves) ....so my question is will she lay eggs in the cave she used to if the new male isnt in there or chosen it as his own ?
