Pregnant???

Is my fish pregnant??? She look like she is...this is my first preggo fish, had them just one month but she is the only swordtail in the aquarium. Could she have gotten pregnant while at the pet store but just now showing???

Sorry but you have been misinformed. This fish is a Platy look up twin-bar Platys also this fish looks like a male from the pictures... Hope this helps

Have to agree, the pics really make the fish look like a male so to be sure, check out this link Sexing platies and go to the first post. The male is the pic on the left. The big difference is the anal fin. It's curled up to be the gonopodium on males while the females have that nice triangular shaped fin.
