I was wondering if I keep my female who is holding in a separate tank do I need to still put food in the tank even though she isn't eating? And what do I put in the tank if anything?

And when she does let them go what will I be feeding them?

Probably too late now... But I just joined the forum. You will not need to feed the female. She will not eat for the whole 2-3 week period. If she is alone, she may spit a little early. I feed my fry cichlid flakes crushed to almost dust. They love it!
