Pregnant Oto cat? Help

We have three otos. They are great fish. They clean our tank and are really active. One though is slowly getting fatter. The other two remain thinner. Any chance our Oto is pregnant and is there any way we can tell? I belive they are egg layers, does anyone know the habitat we need to provide for them to lay their eggs?
