pregnant platy

how long till my platy gives birth? its gravid spot is dark orange and i can see small figures but no eyes yet.also should i get a small separate breeding tank that hooks on to the tank? i have 13 different types of tetras in there and i platy the one thats pregnant.

I don't know the specifics of how long a platy is gravid. Someone else can answer that, but yes, do put her in a breeder net. Once she has her babies, she can come out of the net.

I like the breeder nets instead of the breeder containers. Babies are less likely to get out.

We, as a people, know so much more about outer space than we do about our own oceans. This lack of knowledge can very well spell the dangers that lay in wait for us.

The oceans surely would swallow us before a rock comes down to smite the planet of it's life.
